Dog

There was a little girl, she was five.  She had a dog who was a watchdog.  It would always stay up to watch the door for her and her mother.  The girl loved the dog, but her mother didn't.
The little girl's father was away at war, far away in China!
Late at night, the house alarm went off!  The little girl did not wake up.  The dog had to jump on her to wake her!  She woke slowly and said, "Why did you wake me up?"  The dog couldn't explain it to her because he was a dog.  Then she heard the alarm and understood why he woke her up.
She quickly ran into her mother's room and woke her up.  Her mother went to check the front door, and standing outside in the rain was her father!!!  She missed him so much, so did her mom.  They threw open the door and hugged and kissed him.  They were so glad he was home!
The daddy asked why they didn't come to the door when he knocked.  The little girl explained how the dog had woken her by jumping on her.
Her parents laughed and her mom said, "I guess he's a pretty good dog after all!"

How I Love the Outdoors

Oh how I love the outdoors!
I love the air.
Do you love the outdoors?

Oh how I love the outdoors.
I love the grass squigling away.
I love the trees; the tree leaves squirming with bugs.

O how I love nature, mountains to dirt.
I love the grass, and seeds growing to flowers.
I love everything attached to nature.

O how I love the outdoors!

The Igloos

Two penguins - a brother and a sister - were making a home. It was like your home, but it was a home made out of snow and ice. They used square pieces of ice. It was -1'C. During the day, the sun rose in the sky.
As the sun rose, the penguins were panicking! They were running around in circles with the other penguins! Their homes were melting.
"Aaaaaaaaa!" A couple of penguins were saying.
Then the snow melted completely! They found sticks and twigs and a couple of rocks. They made their homes out of that material!
The next day when the brother and sister woke up, it was SNOWING!!! They couldn't get out of their house, because the snow was so deep. panicking again, penguins all across town were panicking, "Oh no! Oh no! We have to fix this!" The sister said, "I know just how!"
The brother said, "How, digging?"
"Yes! That's just what I was thinking!"
So, they started to dig. After they were done, they were exhausted, but they still had to dig out the rest of the town's houses. That night, their houses froze into perfect little balls! The penguins were so excited! They had their igloos after all!

The Bubble Gum Castle

There once was a beautiful castle. It had hearts all over it , but most of all it had bubbles everywhere that they could see. That was when they didn't know that exact castle! They thought that there was a princess inside, but it was the exact opposite!
She was rude. She was cruel. She was older - she was a wicked queen!!
The wicked queen would steal everyone's gum! That's where she got all her bubbles from. She blew and she blew.
One morning she woke up and her face was pink! She washed and washed, but it wouldn't come off. She said, "I DO want to survive!" So finally, after years of only eating bubble gum, she ate her first piece of normal food. It was a strawberry! Everyone wanted to see her eat it. After she ate it, her face turned back to normal colour again. From that day, she shared all her gum with the world.

a poem

Cats and dogs love to play.
Cats and dogs jump, hurray!
Children come out to play.
Children say, "Hip, hip, hurray!"
They run around the yard to play - like four little rats.
Children say, "Come on! Let's play!
It doesn't matter if we're sick.
We can play whatever we play!"
Children play until Mother said,
"Come in! We need to pray, so come in!"
And they lived happily ever after.

Mary and Joseph

Once in a very small town, there was a woman. Her name was Mary. One night an angel came. He said, "Do not be afraid. I bring you Good News that will be for all the people!" So he said, "Mary, you will have a baby. You will have to name him Jesus, for the Lord has brought his son to live on earth and He wanted you to have him so take good care of him because he is very special to the Lord!"
Mary was very surprised because she was not married, but she was going to get married. She told Joseph to get a camel and ride her to Bethlehem.
So Joseph borrowed a camel from his neighbours. They hurried off. They got to Bethlehem. They knocked on the door.
"Can we come in?"
"No! We do not have any more beds, but you could use the shed."
So Mary and Joseph went to the shed. The Lord's son was born!
All the people went to Bethlehem to see the Lord's son!
